Given HFO is readily available and less costly than other common fuel types, HFO units are often used as backups for “peaker plants” in case the primary fuel supply is interrupted. HFO is also used as the primary fuel for many smaller generators.

We provide both prime and standby HFO generator sets for power plants and other infrastructures. These heavy oil diesel power plants can be installed in single unit or multiple unit configurations for larger capacity requirements.

These units are equipped with brushless, synchronous alternators and automatic voltage control boards. Much like their alternatively fueled brethren, protective equipment for overload, short-circuit, over-voltage, under-voltage, and various fault alarms are included to provide warning in the event of potential maintenance needs.
